Effective date: August 31, 2026
This policy describes how BTWS Services, LLC ("BTWS", "we") handles information in connection with The Foreclosure Docket at foreclosedocket.com. Our approach is simple: we collect almost nothing, and we sell nothing.
We disclose information only if required by law (for example, a valid subpoena) or as necessary to protect the security of the Service.
We use exactly one cookie: a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in after you enter your access code. It is strictly functional — it contains no tracking identifiers and is not used for advertising or analytics. Blocking it will prevent you from staying signed in.
We keep access-code records for as long as the related subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing and audit purposes. Server logs are retained on a rolling basis and routinely deleted or overwritten after a limited period. Payment records are retained by Stripe under its own policies. Data stored in your browser's local storage stays on your device under your control.
Because we hold so little about you, most requests are simple. You may contact us at [email protected] to ask what information we hold in connection with your access code, to request its correction or deletion (subject to records we must keep for billing or legal compliance), or to ask any question about this policy. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we honor applicable rights under Texas and other applicable privacy laws.
The Service is intended for adults conducting real-estate research and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will remove the related data.
If our practices change, we will update this policy and post the new version with a revised effective date. Material changes will be noted on the site. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
